Carrie is a contract and business law attorney, with a background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities. Carrie works with clients in the drafting and negotiation of construction and other corporate contracts. She also manages pre-suit construction claims and handles insurance disputes with the firm’s pre-suit claim team. She comes to us from a large international law firm where she handled the business needs of both private and public companies. She has almost 15 years of experience drafting and reviewing a variety of business documents, including the formation of both for profit and non-profit entities.
Carrie attended Vanderbilt University Law School and also has a Masters in Theological Studies. Carrie is also very involved in her community, serving on the board of the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida and as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifth District Court of Appeals, having been appointed by Governor DeSantis. Previously, Governor Scott had appointed Carrie to the board of the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. She is also a past president of Florida Right to Life.
