Carrie represents developers and contractors in construction contract drafting and negotiation for residential projects, large commercial projects and everything in between. Carrie began her career as a business law attorney at a large, international law firm. There she handled the business needs of both public and private companies, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities. With more than 15 years of experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex business documents, Carrie assists now construction clients in ensuring their contracts are clear and effective. Carrie also assists construction clients in managing presuit construction claims and navigating the complexities of construction insurance claims. Often, Carrie effectively resolves claims without the need for litigation.
Carrie is also very involved in our community, serving on the board of the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida and as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifth District Court of Appeals, having been appointed by Governor DeSantis. Previously, Governor Scott had appointed Carrie to the board of the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. She is also a past president of Florida Right to Life.
